Giving Back This Thanksgiving
It’s that time of year again where stuffing and mashed potatoes are on everyone’s minds. Whether your gathering is through video chat or a roommate Friendsgiving this year, Thanksgiving is a loved introduction into the holiday season. On top of bringing out the old casserole dishes and securing the perfect pumpkin pie, there are many other ways you can give back to your community this Thanksgiving:

Salt Lake City
Hearth on 25th normally makes meals for 6 but is adhering to the smaller gatherings this year and are offering Thanksgiving feasts for 2. You can order as many as you need, and they have not forgotten to include all the good fixings that come with the feast. Available for pickup Wednesday, 11/25 between 5:00pm-9:00pm for $52.00

New Orleans
Josephine Estelle is Open for Thanksgiving: Thanksgiving will look a little different this season but to ease with the stress of prepping a meal, Josephine Estelle located in the Ace Hotel will be open on Thanksgiving Day for lunch and dinner. JE is also offering a special $65 Thanksgiving four-course prix fixe menu.

Utah Food Bank: Founded in 1904, Utah Food Bank has been dedicated to Fighting Hunger Statewide. Last year, they were able to deliver 44.1 million meals to individuals and families in need. Click here to donate to the virtual food drive.

Second Harvest Food Bank of South Louisiana: They will gladly accept all food donations, large or small. Second Harvest Food Bank leads the fight against hunger in South Louisiana by providing food access, advocacy, education, and disaster response. Through their food distribution programs, community kitchen meal service, nutrition education, and public benefits assistance, they are helping to create pathways out of poverty. Deliver your favorite Thanksgiving food to a homebound senior through Meals on Wheels
Meals on wheels supports over 5,000 communities throughout America and is addressed to helping senior isolation and hunger. Since March, Meals on wheels is serving 47% more seniors and 77% more meals. With many of our seniors having to stay isolated this Thanksgiving, help bring a hot meal to their homes that they can enjoy while video chatting their loved ones.

Family to Family is dedicated to providing food, personal hygiene products, and basic life essentials to those in poverty. Family to Family helps support over 6.4 million families in need of a meal. This Thanksgiving join the annual Turkey Drive to help making Thanksgiving happen for all families!
