What is The Shop Workspace?

The Shop is a hospitality-first coworking brand with locations in New Orleans, Salt Lake City, and Brooklyn. We offer private offices, shared coworking in our Commons, meeting rooms, and event space. Every location is designed to feel like somewhere you actually want to spend time, not just a place to sit.

What membership types do you offer?

Across our locations, we offer Commons coworking (hot desk / shared space), dedicated desks, private offices for individuals and teams, day passes, and virtual office memberships. Specific options vary by location, see the sections below for what’s available at each one.

How does pricing work?

Pricing varies by location and membership type. See each location section above for specifics, or contact the local team for current rates.

Do I have to sign a long-term lease?

Nope! All memberships are available with terms as flexible as day-to-day, which means you get a professional office environment without a traditional lease commitment. Longer term commitments are available (6-24m) and often come with added incentives, benefits or discounts.

What’s included with a private office?

Private offices come fully furnished and turnkey. All include high-speed WiFi, dedicated private vLAN, all utilities, staffed reception, concierge level support from our Community Team, mail and package handling, and janitorial services. Private office members can also expect monthly meeting room credits and 24/7 access to their offices. Exact offerings vary by location, schedule a tour of your preferred workspace today to experience it for yourself.

Can I try The Shop before committing?

Of course! In fact, we encourage it. Day passes are available at all locations so you can get a feel for the space before signing up. You can also schedule a tour through the location page on our website, pick a time and come take a look. Feel free to bring your work set-up with you and work before/after your tour as well to get a real sense of what our space feels like each day.

Do you have meeting rooms and event space?

Yes. All locations have bookable meeting rooms. Event space is available at select locations. Spaces can be booked on-demand here, or you can reach out to the desired location individually.

Are you pet-friendly?

Yes. All Shop locations are dog-friendly, and bringing your dog to work is genuinely part of our culture. Dogs are welcome in private offices and meeting rooms.

In shared spaces, we ask that dogs stay leashed and are up to date on vaccines. Please see a Community Team member for our full dog policy (and their welcome gift!) before bringing your pup in for their first day of work.

Do you offer virtual office memberships?

Yes, at select locations. Virtual office memberships give you a professional business address, mail handling, and access to the space on an as-needed basis. Starting from $40–$80/month depending on location.

Can I access other Shop locations with my membership?

Yes! All members have reciprocal access to every Shop location. If you’re in New Orleans and find yourself in Brooklyn or Salt Lake City, you’re welcome to work from any of our spaces. We’re also part of the LExC (League of Extraordinary Coworking Spaces) network, which extends that access to 100+ independently owned coworking spaces worldwide. We’re place-based and design-forward. Each location is built to feel like one of a kind featuring one of a kind art pieces and vintage furniture. Our members tend to stay because of the community and the environment. We’re also part of the LExC (League of Extraordinary Coworking Spaces) network, which gives members access to 100+ quality coworking spaces worldwide.

Do you host events and programming?

Yes. Each location runs its own mix of networking events, educational programming, happy hours, and community gatherings. The specifics vary by location, get a sense of what’s on here.
