Situated at the second oldest park in New Orleans, Layfette Square comes to life on Wednesday’s for a special spring tradition. Wednesday at the Square (WATS) is a 10-week music concert experience. The event series is presented by AOS Interior Environments, with food and beverage proceeds supporting the Youth Leadership Council (YLC) Since 2006 YLC has successfully planned and produced the concert series, which draws in an average of 6,000 attendees each week. The green space is enclosed by St. Charles Ave, Camp Street, bounded by N. and S. Maestri Streets. On Wednesday evenings, the green space transforms to include a main stage, beer and wine garden, artist village and VIP area. WATS attendees are serenaded with music from local artists such as Flow Tribe and Robin Barnes, while immersed in an intimate festival-like setting.
On April 6th and April 20th residents and team members from The Domain Companies gathered friends and family to convened in the sponsored tent to enjoy WATS. Members of the Domain Companies community savored finger-food from Otra Vez and sipped refreshing ales from Urban South Brewery. The Shop is deeply engaged with the New Orleans ecosystem and supports events that uplift the City’s community and culture. Wednesday at the Square is a family friendly event and a unique opportunity for Shop members to connect outside of the shared workspace.
