One of our inspiring community members, Mohan Sudabattula, was recently featured in Utah Business for his work with Project Embrace, a nonprofit dedicated to providing essential medical equipment to underserved communities worldwide.

Mohan founded Project Embrace with a bold mission in mind: to address the barriers many face in accessing necessary medical resources. The organization collects, refurbishes, and redistributes gently used medical equipment, like crutches and braces, to individuals and communities that lack access to these essentials. Project Embrace has distributed over 10,000 pounds of equipment across multiple countries, impacting countless lives and transforming the landscape of healthcare accessibility.

In his Utah Business feature, Mohan highlighted the journey of Project Embrace, the importance of reducing medical waste, and how accessible healthcare technology can empower communities. Mohan’s drive for social entrepreneurship began during his time as a student at the University of Utah, where he recognized the profound impact that affordable, accessible healthcare could have on individuals and entire communities.
