At The Shop at the CAC, we believe in the power of community. That’s why we’re excited to announce that Glassroots is joining our MyCommunity Program as our newest nonprofit partner!

Through Domain’s MyCommunity Program, The Shop proudly supports local nonprofits by providing financial assistance, volunteer opportunities for members and employees, and raising awareness for their missions. When a member signs or renews their lease, they have the opportunity to select one of our MyCommunity partners, and The Shop will donate a portion of our $10,000 annual contribution to the selected organizations. These donations are distributed on a quarterly basis, weighted by member selections—allowing our community to directly support the causes that matter most to them.

About Glassroots

Glassroots is changing the way we think about glass, transforming it from waste into a valuable environmental resource. By providing free glass recycling services, Glassroots reduces landfill waste while promoting environmental education and stewardship. But they don’t stop there—Glassroots also works with community partners to implement coastal restoration, green infrastructure, and disaster preparedness projects throughout Greater New Orleans and Southeast Louisiana. Their innovative approach repurposes recycled glass into sand and gravel, which is then used to restore coastlines, prevent flooding, and build a more resilient future for our region.
