Your Guide to the Twilight Concerts (From a Concert Pro)

I grew up in Nashville (aka Music City), so concerts have been a constant my whole life. I’ve already been to over 50 shows this year, and on Tuesday night, I’m adding another: Mt. Joy at the Twilight Concert Series. If you’re coming, let me give you the inside scoop on how to make the most of it.

Timing Is Everything

Gates open at 6 PM, but the magic starts before you even step into Gallivan. My move? Hit the Shop rooftop for a pre-show drink, then stroll downtown (bonus points for a GREENbike ride). Grab a bite, roll in around 7 PM, and you’ll still catch the openers with plenty of time to snag your perfect spot.

Why You Should Be Excited for Mt. Joy

If you haven’t been blasting Silver Lining, Astrovan, and Lemon Tree yet, fix that before Tuesday. Their mix of indie folk-rock feels tailor-made for a warm summer night downtown. And live? They’re all heart, soul, and sing-alongs.

Where I’d Eat (and Drink) Before or After

  • Copper Common – Burger. Beer. Bliss.

  • Franklin Ave – That chicken sandwich is next-level.

  • Monarca – Elevated Mexican + strong margs.

  • Beer Bar – Legendary fries for your post-show snack run.

The Shop x Twilight

At The Shop, we love Twilight because it’s more than music—it’s community. Our members score free tickets, sneak peeks, and sometimes pre-show hangs on the rooftop. Not a member? Come see what you’re missing.

🎟 Book a tour, grab a trial day, and come work + play with us downtown.

See you Tuesday, if you hear someone singing Julia at the top of their lungs, that’s probably me.
