September 2nd: New Orleans Film Club Script Workshop
The Script Workshop is a relaxed, community space to share work, get feedback, and learn from each other. You’re welcome to bring something you’re actively developing, something rough, or just come listen in. Some scripts may eventually be considered for Film Club group projects, but the workshop itself is focused on conversation, craft, and collaboration first.
Time: 7:00pm-9:00pm
September 4th: Global New Orleans Cohort Reception
Global New Orleans will be hosting an informal reception for their new cohort of high school students, plus two groups of international visitors they will have in town. And of course, Shop members are always welcome!
Time: 5:30pm-7:30pm
September 7th: Labor Day Weekend Office Closure
With Labor Day weekend approaching, please note our upcoming adjusted hours:
Friday, September 4th – The Shop will close early at 2:00 PM
Monday, September 7th – The Shop will be closed all day in recognition of Labor Day
We’ll reopen with regular hours on Tuesday. Members with Kisi will continue to have 24/7 access to the space. Please see a member of the Community Team with any questions or concerns. We hope everyone has a safe, wonderful weekend!

Join us for Freelance Thursday at The Shop, where you can experience our upscale workspace with a free day pass! Whether you’re a freelancer, entrepreneur, or remote worker, it’s the perfect opportunity to explore our vibrant community, enjoy high-speed internet, and get a feel for the inspiring work environment.
This month Freelance Thursday will be taking place at our new SOMA location! This is a great opportunity to see the new space at 798 S. Rampart Street!
