As we signal in a new normal and seek to understand what the future of work looks like, many companies are shifting their models to emphasize flexibility. Quotient, one of Shop SLC’s own member companies, decided that the future of their work was in Salt Lake City.
Quotient, a global omnichannel digital marketing company, is hyper focused on transforming shopping to make life better. Making life better for their clients works to drive sales and value through compelling consumer experiences. However, this mission can’t be accomplished overnight and it certainly can’t be done without a strong company culture.
“Quotient strives to create a balanced and collaborate work culture for people with the skills and passion to thrive in an office where innovation is the norm, collaboration is paramount, and fun is always part of the mix,” shares Chief People Officer Renee Cutright. She continues, “Quotient believes in a culture of driving change and discovery. Our social responsibility programs focus on encouraging employees to discover and appreciate the diversity of their peers and on giving back to our communities and causes that are important to them.”
So, we had to know — why Salt Lake City? “Utah’s talent, costs of doing business, and business-friendliness are key drivers of Quotient’s decision to bring its operations to the state. The company took a hard look at several possible locations and was attracted to Salt Lake City, Utah’s rich, growing pool of talent that will equip the company to innovate and thrive long into the future,” said Cutright.
These qualities have long make Utah and Salt Lake City one of the top choices for companies looking to expand operations and do business. Quotient plans on creating 520 new jobs in the Sugar House suburb of SLC in the next decade alone. To get their feet wet, they started a partnership with The Shop SLC. Cutright shared several reasons why, “The Shop provides Quotient with an open, flexible, and secure workspace for our growing Salt Lake City Team as we build out our new company headquarters. The Shop’s location, modern design, and functional layout were a perfect choice as a temporary workspace. It’s not only a great place to hold interviews, the design and layout is very conducive for team collaboration and going “heads down” to get work done. The Shop has a unique and vibrant energy, along with great mojo!”
We can’t wait to see what happens next as Quotient continues to grow in our community. Want to work for a company that prioritizes collaborative, flexible work environments (plus having fun while they are at it!)? Visit their job board here for open roles in Salt Lake City.
