Eat

Fenice Mediterranean Bistro – Tucked behind the Eccles Theatre, this delightful restaurant adds a new layer to the heart of the blocks. From-scratch Italian and Mediterranean-inspired fare are sure to delight (be sure to try the wood-fired pizza).

Salt & Olive – Just a hop, skip and a jump from The Shop SLC, Salt & Olive is a must try for any meal of the day. Great ambiance combined with a robust Italian menu make it an easy choice. Don’t skip out on their unique gelato flavors on your way out!

The Pearl – Right off trax, enjoy the new experience of Pearl. Vietnamese-inspired cocktails and delicacies are the newest addition to the Central 9th neighborhood.

Franklin Ave – The newest venture from the Bourbon Group is now open on Edison Street. Enjoy craft cocktails and bites!  

Entertainment 

Jazz in the Park – Make your way up to the Memorial House in Memory Grove Park every Tuesday of this month for Preservation’s annual Jazz in the Park series. Live jazz music runs from 7p-10p for a can’t miss experience.

Sundance Locals Only Screenings – With a wide variety of venues, Sundance is back with screenings of their hit films for locals! The fun goes through August, be sure to check their line-up and RSVP now. Picnic basket optional.
