The Utah Black Chamber, in partnership with Domo and Nikki Walker, kicked off their September First Friday at the Ken Garff Club! The Utah Black Chamber and Nikki Walker have worked together to focus on black healthcare and the issues associated with Sickle Cell and blood donation. The business of the evening was the announcement of their new program that is part of their Black Business Impact Quotient (Business IQ): Financial Capacity Program sponsored by WCF. The program will begin in January of 2023 and will continue through 2025.

Fellow member company, CurlyMe! was also selected to be one of the first Black Excellence Program Participants! Other winners includes Carribbean-Nightingale and Ysamani. All three winners will be presenting their business at the next First Friday on October 7th at The Leonardo, be sure to go out and show your support!
