Who You Are
Are you an extroverted, organized individual who loves working with people and exceeding their expectations? Do you thrive in dynamic environments and excel at multitasking? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Community Specialist role. We’re now hiring someone with:
– A positive, can-do attitude and a knack for anticipating needs
– Strong time-management, organizational, and communication skills
– The ability to manage facilities and maintain high standards of cleanliness and experience
– A talent for building relationships and managing vendor interactions
– Experience in coworking, hospitality, sales, customer service, or events (2+ years preferred)
– A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred)
– A collaborative spirit and a passion for community building and entrepreneurialism
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Community Specialist, you’ll be the operations lead at The Shop SLC, ensuring our space is always at its best and our members are well taken care of. Your responsibilities will include:
– Maintaining the space, equipment, and amenities to the highest standards
– Confidently managing facilities and ensuring a world-class experience
– Overseeing inventory management and event schedules
– Assisting with member orientation, onboarding, and overall experience
– Providing exceptional hospitality and communication to members and guests
– Identifying opportunities to improve amenities, increase revenue, and enhance member experience
– Supporting sales and leasing efforts to ensure long-term success
