The Shop at CAC had the honor of hosting over 60 international prominent delegates, foreign CEOs, business leaders, and US Government officials for the 14th Americas Competitiveness Exchange (ACE) event. International delegates and national leaders convened at The Shop to break bread and engage in discussions about the Latin American Business Ownership initiative and Louisiana’s workforce development efforts. ACE is a week-long tour which took place from March 26th to April 1st, coordinated by the Organization of American States (OAS) and the US Economic Development Administration (EDA). ACE highlights economic development and innovation, showcasing New Orleans and Louisiana as a Gateway to the Americas and a premier location for economic investment and trade.
New Orleans is a key hub for entrepreneurial growth, which is exemplified at The Shop. Dignitaries were wowed as they stepped into The Shop on a quiet Sunday afternoon. While enjoying their lunch from local eatery, La Cocina de Antonio, attendees turned their attention to the Hispanic Business Ownership Panel. New Orleans community pillars, Lindsey Navarro from El Centro and Mayra Pineda of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana gave insightful remarks during the panel. Attendees rounded out their time at The Shop with a tour of the space and a Workforce Development panel.
We are ecstatic that The Shop at CAC was selected to welcome such distinguished guests and look forward to nurturing connections with decision-makers from around the globe with ACE!
